Our story
Dialysis where it has never been.
We have run dialysis in Ghana since May 2020. Today we are 3 centres across 2 countries — built around one problem: kidney patients in this region leave to get treated.
- 01 Dialysis in Ghana since May 2020
- 02 3 centres, 2 countries
- 03 Single-use dialyzers — never reused, not even between your own sessions
Since May 2020
The problem
Three out of five, into the city, across the border, out of the continent.
Kidney failure is a life sentence that arrives in an emergency: three sessions a week, four hours each, indefinitely. Where the chair isn't there, patients travel for it — into Accra, across to Ghana, out to India — or they go without.
Pioneer exists so they don't have to. Two of our three centres sit on roads where dialysis has never been. If you live in Oyibi, you don't drive into Accra. If you live in Liberia, you don't fly to Ghana. If you live in Ghana, you don't fly abroad.
What we hold to
Mission & vision
To provide quality dialysis for people living with kidney disease, and to become a preferred dialysis provider in Ghana and beyond — measured by the quality of care, the outcomes, and the dignity of the experience.
